MiFID II: Best Execution

When it comes into force in January 2018, MiFID II will impact almost every participant in the investment management and securities sector.

With just eight months to go before the deadline, firms need to be reviewing and updating their execution, monitoring and disclosure arrangements to ensure compliance with MiFID II.

Some investment managers have assumed that the new rules would not apply to them, however, following their recent thematic review, the FCA reinforced that the requirements do apply and firms need to make sure they are ready to comply with best execution rules.
